Artist's Comments

Drawn directly from a moviestill of The Bride of Frankenstein. I did a lot of copying in this drawing class. I was pretty focused on just trying to get better at realism, so I did a lot of famous figures.

I love it. I have never been really good at being totally realistic, so I was excited.

18X24, pencil and charcoal on white paper

Oh, sweet. I've always been of a fan of vintage monster movies. Nice shade job.

:orange: Hello there! :orange:

Just dropped by to tell you that I feature this work in my journal, starting today (Feb. 25) until... who knows? I do this with great pleasure, because good art must be seen!
If you however do not wish to be displayed in the journal, please let me know and I will take care of it.
Wonderful work!

Thank you for displaying my art! It's fine, just as long as there is at least a link to my gallery, or my display page for it.

Thanks again!

Absolutely beautiful. I've always loved "Bride of Frankenstein" makes me want to see it again. Wish they'd bring the classics back to the big screen every now and then, feel like I'm missing something. The delicate shading on the face is brilliant...
